Mimosas & Mile 9, Oct 7
Kristin and Carrie threw a 'Mimosas & Mile 9' party on the patio. It was the 30th year of the Chicago Marathon with a record 45,000 registered runners. The sun beat down.....lucky for us, but not for the runners!
Outside at 8am...
...before heading to our first cheering position at Mile 5 on Stockton Drive.
Then over to Sedgwick & Dickens to see the Kenyan frontrunners at Mile 9.
