After
returning from our Route 66 road trip, we fitted a lot into
the last few days of Mum
and Dad's visit.

Dad's
birthday treat was an evening at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

At
Ben & Dimitra's for Euro 2004: Greece
won, England lost.

Drowning
our sorrows at Diversey Rock 'n' Bowl.

The
Stella seemed to be doing the trick.

"Emma,
must
we stay up this late every night?"

Dad
in front of the
Water Tower on Michigan Ave.

Coffee
and shopping on Rush Street.

An
architecture boat trip on the Chicago River.

Sears
Tower: the
world's tallest building (in 3 out of 4 categories).

The
Loop's differing architectural styles.

Margaritas
on "the ship" at North Avenue Beach.
